Zoom, the videoconferencing giant, is doubling down on hybrid work solutions in response to the evolving workplace landscape. This commitment comes just two months after the company made headlines by requiring some employees to return to the office. At the annual Zoomtopia event, Zoom unveiled a series of platform updates aimed at enhancing the hybrid work experience.

Empowering Flexible Workspaces

Theresa Larkin, Global Lead for UCaaS Product Marketing at Zoom, emphasized the importance of flexible workspaces that facilitate collaboration between virtual and in-person teams, regardless of location. To achieve this, Zoom announced several key initiatives.

Integration with Workvivo

Zoom acquired Workvivo, an employee engagement and communications application, earlier this year. Now, Workvivo is set to integrate with Zoom, enabling employees to engage with colleagues seamlessly, whether they are in the office or remote. This integration will also allow users to initiate meetings and Team Chats directly from the Workvivo platform.
